August 29, 2025 – The Chula CRC Clinical Research Center was delighted to welcome a delegation of executives and staff from Chiang Rai Prachanukroh Hospital for a study visit to exchange knowledge on the management and operations of a clinical research center. The visit took place at the Chula CRC meeting room in the APRA Building and the Office of the Research Ethics Committee in the Ananda Mahidol Building.

The visit commenced at 1:00 PM with a warm welcome address by

Professor Thanyawee Phuthanakit, M.D., Director of the Chula CRC Clinical Research Center.

The program continued with presentations and knowledge-sharing sessions, which were divided into breakout groups based on specific topics of interest:

• CRC Operation: Covering organizational structure, team management, budgeting, research fund administration, and processes for start-up, feasibility, and CTA.

• Clinical Operation: Medical practices in clinical operations.

• Data Management: The management of research data.

• Ethics Committee: The operations of the Research Ethics Committee.

Later in the day, the delegation visited the Office of the Research Ethics Committee (Chula IRB) at the Ananda Mahidol Building to tour the facilities and meeting rooms and to observe the data storage systems, administrative management, and various clerical procedures.

The Chula CRC Clinical Research Center extends its sincere gratitude to Chiang Rai Prachanukroh Hospital for the honor of this visit and knowledge exchange.
