The Sirindhorn Mahachulalongkorn Research Centre Congratulates Dr. Trairak Pisitkun and Chula CRC Research Team on Winning the 1st Prize at JCMS 2025

Bangkok – The Sirindhorn Mahachulalongkorn Research Centre (Chula CRC) extends its heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Trairak Pisitkun and his research team on receiving the 1st Prize Winner in the Oral Presentation Award (General) category for their research on “Personalized Neoantigen Vaccine Induces Rapid and Robust Immunological Responses in Thai Melanoma and Renal Cell Carcinoma Patients.”

The award ceremony took place at the Joint Conference in Medical Sciences 2025: Chula-Rama-Siriraj-Thammasat, themed "HARMONY IN HEALTH: Innovating for Sustainable Medicine," held from July 23rd to 25th, 2025, at the Bangkok Convention Centre, Centara Grand at CentralWorld, Bangkok, Thailand. The conference was a collaborative effort of the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University; Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University; Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University; and Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat University.

This award-winning research represents a significant advancement in Thai medicine, presenting a novel approach to cancer treatment through "Personalized Neoantigen Vaccines." The study demonstrates the potential of these vaccines to induce rapid and robust immune responses in Thai patients with melanoma and renal cell carcinoma, offering new hope for the development of precise and sustainable treatment innovations for these patients.

The research also received support from various units within Chulalongkorn University, including the Medical Oncology Unit, the Center of Excellence in Cancer Immunotherapy, and the Center of Excellence in Systems Biology.

The Sirindhorn Mahachulalongkorn Research Centre commends Dr. Trairak Pisitkun and his entire research team for their dedication, hard work, and remarkable achievement, which has brought honor and significant contributions to the field of medical research in Thailand.
